Since 1989 Sonus has been publishing the magazine "Sonus - Materiali per la musica moderna e contemporanea" and the book series "Fenomenologia ad ermeneutica musicale" (Phenomenology and musical hermeneutics).
Since 1996 it has set up and promoted the "Summer School of Music and Philosophy" in Maratea and the "Maratea Music Festival" together with Associazione Musica e Filosofia. It is a research project on historical and theoretical musicology.
Sonus carries out researches and provides updates
and trainings promoting at the same time many concerts and other
events. Main aim is that to offer a more accurate service to people
studying at the
university or at the conservatories and who therefore need rigorous
and at the same time updated means of research.
